Today the mailwoman delivered a nice brown envelope on my doormat. In it was this beautiful pattern. I won this wedding star pattern at a drawing held at Patti's blog. Isn't she lovely...I'm so happy, thanks!

The second gift I received today is one my mother made for me. She knitted this so colourful scarf. I love it! Thanks mom!

Wow that certainly is a happy mail day - two soft squishies in the mail. The pattern looks great - and a soft colorful scarf to keep you warm. Very sweet.

My very first record I bought had a song Happy Unbirthday, I think it was Mickey Mouse - so a very Happy Unbirthday to you.

I love your scarf...and even better...the photos of What's in the box? My boxes don't look near as interesting as yours do. I am just learning how to follow a knitting pattern....but all of my South African friends are prolific knitters...scarves,fingerless gloves..socks and jerseys. They are amazing ladies. I am so enjoying learning from the. Thanks for sharing you knitting and quilting photos. Colleen
